The company's vast experience in informatics contributes to develop consulting projects with effective results that help the user to gain a correct dimension of the required equipment and the choice for the operation system and the appropriate database.
In most cases, the consultancy service was followed by the provision, installation and start up of the needed equipment.
Facing the so-called Crisis of the Year 2000 (Y2K), our company was hired to provide an Analysis of the Impact that this would provoke. For this project, hardware and software from different companies and state organizations were analyzed.

Installations:
The installations done by the company comply with norms EIA/TIA 568, 568 A, 569, ISO 11801, etc., therefore they have been certified and approved by different verification agencies.

Among the services provided by CITARELLA S.A., as you can easily see from this brochure, we offer an extended spectrum of services which in most cases are of hi-technical complexity, responsibility and large-scale.
Thanks to the strategic alliances signed with third parties, we offer services that go from the organization and set up of Calculation Computer Centers for specific functions (election processes, sports, conventions, meetings, etc.), including the provision of all elements needed.
Thanks to the integration capacity we are able to accomplish: providing the logistics; furniture; servers; computers; printers; hub's; switches; ups's; setting up the connection from the cables or optic fiber; and performing also "wireless" connections via radio or satellite; going through the installation of operation systems and databases; the provision of trained personnel in different areas; developing -in certain cases- the application software, i.e. registration and access control system with databases for follow-up mailing; etc. All these tasks can be completed by a video and communication system that allows the user -i.e. during a speech at a convention- to focus on their specific goals and delegate technical matters to our company.
As it was mentioned before, our company not only provided consultant and analytical services, installation of operation systems and databases, developed and programmed the applications ending with the start up of the systems, but also provided remediation services for the so-called Crisis of the Year 2000 (Y2K).
Communication
Consultancy:
CITARELLA S.A. provided consultancy work in the communication area through the support of telecommunication engineers from our staff.
Some of the projects are:
- Traffic analysis. Cost reduction. Optimization of communication resources.
- Management of interurban and international traffic services to minimize costs.
- Election of the appropriate service (Private Group-Virtual Private Net, etc.)
- Elaboration of Norms for public telephones. Contracts. Design, assessment, and ranking for construction work and wiring. Idem for support structures.
- Elaboration of Proceedings for the selection of placement sites.
- Optimization and consultancy of TCP/IP nets and SNA nets.
Installations:
As in the special industrial installations, those related to public telecommunication required not only special tools and vehicles but also recruiting external human resources.
One of the most developed installations is the so-called wireless. In this aspect, the company developed a cellular system on the ISM bands of 900, 2400 and 5700 MHz. The purpose of this net is to provide high-speed links in the urban area. On this respect, the net allows for access to video, audio and data services at a reasonable cost.
The cellular net not only provides access to the Internet to our clients, but also the installation of private safe nets among them. As an important added value to this net, we can mention its use for security and surveillance applications, audio over IP, and offer a reliable backbone for electronic business purposes, i.e. credit card validation at sales sites, etc.
We also provide mobile stations PDA type.
CITARELLA S.A. installed private links point to point and point to multipoint, non-cellular, for specific applications, i.e. National University of La Plata and Neuquen Bank.
As part of this project, we installed posts 60 meters high, beacons, antenna and buffers, helped by measurement tools as GPSs, digital bathymetric devices, etc.
Call Centers, IVR´s and telephone centrals are other kind of installations that the Company provides and sums to its vast experience.

Installations:
In the case of special industrial installations, like the ones needed in industrial plants were heavy vehicles and tools are required, the Company provided with all the components to achieve the planned objectives with success.
In those projects that needed control tabletop, they were provided, together with the contactors, thermal key, PLC, etc. and set up by our personnel.
In other projects, taking advantage of the products from ABB (Asea Browm Boveri), for whom we are authorized providers, we first study the type of load and amount of energy consumed, and we later installed it in diverse series of industries: power factor correctors (cosine phi), and in order to control conveyer belts, we employed speed variation devices for alternate current engines (Frequency Static Converters).
In order to satisfy all the necessities for the Industry, we are distributors for different firms, i.e. UPS and power generators of different power and y autonomy, and also hi-power stabilizers and hi-isolation transformers.
Services:
One of the services that CITARELLA S.A. has frequently been hired for is to provide personnel and tools in the so-called "plant stop" where, responding to an schedule, preventive and/or corrective maintenance procedures are needed in a critical short period of time. The technical maintenance of electronic, and electromechanical or pneumatic equipment has also been the responsibility of our technical personnel.

Since our company started as a developer of special electronic equipment, it counts as its main asset, the ability of giving solutions in a custom-made manner. This commitment to our clients involves from the determination of the sensor element or primary up to the final action element, going through the inter-phases and control instruments and its programming.
